In 2018 we celebrate our 4th year of the Mantra Medicine Journey! Whether you’re new to working with mantra, chanting, vibrational healing, and sound meditation, or have had lots of experience, this 21 day Journey has the power to initiate tremendous positive change. This year’s journey will be filled with beautiful mantras and chants from around the world. In the name of greater cultural understanding and unity in a world that is increasingly divided, we devote the merits of our practices to those who need it most.
During these three weeks, participants receive a daily email that features a simple mantra, chant, or sound meditation, as well as information on the meaning of the meditation, suggestions for intentions to hold in working with the mantra, interesting information and articles about the benefits of mantra and sound meditation, as well as a link to a recording to guide the day’s mantra. Chanting these mantras brings focus to the mind, ease in the body, and purifies and elevates the spirit. These short meditations are beautiful and simple, and the practice takes just 10 minutes each day. Only those who sign up for the Journey will have access to these recordings, and participants can access ALL the recordings during the entire journey, so it is easy to continue practicing along with favorites!

A. Many experts believe that it takes 21 days to break a habit or change a pattern in our lives, and to create new, positive habits and patterns that support us in living in alignment with our true intentions. In the big picture, 21 days is such a short amount of time to invest in recreating ourselves and realigning with our hearts!
Q. How can the 21 Day Mantra Medicine Journey benefit me?
A. It’s widely understood now that meditation is one of the most beneficial practices that we can embrace to shift stress levels and bring greater relaxation and ease to the body and mind. All forms of sound meditation, and especially working with mantras, chants, and toning using our own voices and bodies, are powerful because they work with the vibrational essence of sound, creating shifts in our thinking, our bodies, and our energy. When these powerful vibrations are combined with our personal intentions, we have the ability to hook into universal energy in profound ways, and we can use that energy to benefit our lives and our world. Ultimately, this formula is the key:

Over the course of these 21 days, we will work with a variety of sound meditation, and even though our time together each day will be short ~ only 10 minutes per day ~ it is sufficient to bring a shift away from the busyness of the mind, and the hustle of daily living in this world. These 10 minutes of sound meditation can settle the mind, calm the body, and bring us into deep connection with our quiet, peaceful center. From that place, we can move forward in everything we do with greater peace and balance.
Q. Why do you call it Mantra Medicine?
A. In this context, the word Medicine has very little to do with the medications and treatments that are practiced in western allopathic medicine. The word Medicine is connected to the holistic healing paradigm that shifts the focus beyond curing illness into the realm of deep personal transformation, which can absolutely include shifts in body, mind, emotions, and Spirit. For our purposes, this Medicine is an intentional practice that we can use to support these shifts, serving as a powerful tool for personal growth. Please understand that Mantra Medicine, as with all holistic healing work, is intended as a complimentary modality, and is not meant to be a substitute for necessary medical treatment for those who have serious health concerns.
Q. What kind of support do I receive during the 21 Day Journey?
A. Each day, you will receive a brief email that will share a simple mantra, chant, or sound meditation. The email will include:
- information about the day’s sound meditation, including history, meaning, and intention
- articles and valuable information about sound meditation and wellness
- a link to a recording of the day’s practice to guide you in the journey
There is no particular time that you need to join us each day. Each day’s email will arrive at 12:00 pm EDT, and after it arrives, you are welcome to access the recording anytime you like until the journey ends! This makes it easy to catch up if you miss a day, or to revisit your favorite mantras again and again to continue your practice!
